DALL-E knows a lot of photographers, which can be used to create excellent images. Basically, the more consistent a photographer's style is, the clearer the effect he or she will have on a photo. On the other hand, if a photographer has taken many, very different photos, it can sometimes be difficult to determine the exact effect at all.

How do we know which photographers DALL-E knows?

The only way to find out what DALL-E knows is to test it. A very simple test is to type "by [Name of Photographer]" alone and see if the four images are high quality and have a consistent style. If this is the case, you can be relatively sure that DALL-E knows the photographer. Here is an example:

Various photographers in comparison

In the following, various photographers are presented as examples based on a simple prompt. The prompt is deliberately simple so that the effect of the photographer is particularly visible. It should be noted that with such a simple prompt, the photos are often not excellent and can vary greatly.

We start with a sanity check, which gives us a basis for the direction in which a photographer changes an image.
